MAY 21, 2012 ANNULAR SOLAR ECLIPSE IMAGES

All images below were taken by James Kevin Ty in Xiamen, Fujian , China, using Canon 500D DSLR on Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 IS L Lens with Canon 1.4x converter set at 560mm with f / ratio set more or less between f / 8-f / 11  .

Annular Solar Eclipse at Maximum Eclipse - 87.24%

Chromosphere and Prominences as well as Inner Corona (12 o'clock to 3 o'clock position) was visible to my surprise few seconds before 2nd contact !!!
